* The sessions include:
- short meditations, (that can all be done sitting in a chair or lying down),
- simple stretching movements, (that can also be done seated),
- inspiring poems and readings.
A silent retreat
During the day, participants only speak at the start and end. I will be leading all the meditations, so there will only be short periods of actual silence. But for participants, the day offers a time of quiet reflection, and a chance to deepen your meditation practice without the distraction of conversation.
Who is the day suitable for
The wellbeing days are designed for people who have some meditation experience. If you are new to mindfulnes meditation but would still like to come, it would be helpful for you to attend a few online drop-in sessions before participating in a retreat day. Get in touch to arrange a free online taster session.
During all our sessions, it is completely fine if you don't want to speak at all or join in any of the activities - the day is for you.
Taylor Place Studio - perfectly located for a stress-free arrival
Located a few minutes walk from Dorking Main and Deepdene train stations, our studio is an easy journey if you're coming from London, Sussex, or nearby Surrey towns.
If you prefer to drive, you’ll find free parking just a short walk away, with parking next to the venue for anyone with mobility issues.
